We, at the No Meat Factory, believe in the protection of personal data as a fundamental right and take your privacy and the security of your data very seriously and only use your data to the extent permitted by law. We ensure high standards of data protection in all jurisdictions in which we operate. In doing so, we also comply with laws applicable in the country where you are located at the relevant time. I. What is personal data at No Meat Factory?

Anonymized data that does not allow for the identification of an individual person is not considered personal data.
II. Personal data No Meat Factory collects from you
In general, we only collect the personal data that we need to fulfil the stated purposes. The specific personal data we collect depends on your use of our website and related services.
1. Visiting our website
When you visit our website, your internet browser automatically transmits the following personal data to the server of our website:
- your current IP address assigned to the end device you are using (e.g. your computer or mobile device);
- if you visit our website via an external link, the internet address of the website from which you were redirected to our website (so-called “referrer URL”);

2. Applications
We are delighted that you are interested in working with us.
For your application, we will process the data you provide via email or contact form, that might include:
- master data (e.g., title, name, date and place of birth, nationality, private contact details, etc.) e.g. to process your application, consider your application for employment, perform candidate screening, perform lawful background checks, and to onboard you if you accept an offer of employment with us;
- application data (e.g., cover letter, CV, references, qualifications, certificates, etc.) to assess your suitability for the position you are applying for;
- contact data (title, name, email address) to communicate with you;
- health data (severe disability or equalization): You have the option to provide voluntary information regarding sensitive personal data related to severe disability or equalization. By doing this, you can ensure that the representative body for severely disabled persons is involved in the selection process.
If you apply via our career portal, we will additionally use the following data to get you registered and to set up a user account:
- Contact data (title, name, email address);
- Username;
- password.
To activate your user account, we use a double opt-in procedure. You will receive an email requesting confirmation of your request to create a user account. As soon as we receive your confirmation, we will activate your account.
While you are under no obligation to provide us with the abovementioned data, we might not be able to consider your application without it.
3. Contact form
If you have any questions or requests, please do not hesitate to contact us. When you contact us via the contact form on our website, we will process the following personal data that you have provided when contacting us:

III. Personal data No Meat Factory receives from other sources
To establish and maintain our business relationships with our business partners (e.g., suppliers, logistic and other service providers) we process personal data of their employees and board members. If you provide information about a third party or authorize a third party to do so, we will assume you have taken proper measures to obtain informed consent.
The personal data may include:

- (business) address; and
- (business) phone number and information on professional tasks, company affiliation and position.
IV. No Meat Factory’s use of your personal data
We use personal data to enable the use and to ensure the security of our website, to communicate with you, to process your application, and to improve the quality of our products and services.
We process your personal data in particular for the following purposes:
- Operation of our website: We collect personal data to enable your use and the failure-free operation of our website, to provide information on our company, and to protect our IT-systems from attacks and misuse.
- Applications: We collect your personal data in connection with your application in order to assess your suitability for the position you are applying for (or any other open positions in our companies) and to carry out the application process. V. No Meat Factory’s sharing of personal data
We may share your personal data with the following categories of third parties:
- Other companies in our international group, such as No Meat Factory Europe GmbH, Weidenbaumsweg 13, 21029 Hamburg, Germany
- Service Providers. No Meat Factory may engage third parties to act as our service providers and perform certain tasks on our behalf, such as hosting our website, processing or storing data, including personal data, in connection with your use of our services and delivering products to customers. All service providers are obligated to handle personal data consistent with this privacy policy and according to our instructions. They cannot use the personal data we share for their own purposes and must delete or return the personal data once the respective request. We currently use the following service providers:

Personal data provided to our affiliates and service providers may be stored outside of the Province of Quebec and outside of Canada. We do not sell your personal data including as “sale” is defined in Nevada and California. We further do not “share” your personal data as defined in California.

At No Meat Factory, we strongly believe that your personal data deserves security. To this end, we use technical and organisational measures designed to protect your personal data, taking into account the state of the art, the nature, scope, context and purpose of the data processing, as well as the risk of varying likelihood and severity for your rights and freedoms. To ensure the continued security of your personal data, we are constantly improving these safeguards.
Despite the foregoing security measures and significant steps No Meat Factory has taken to protect your personal data, no company can fully eliminate all security risks associated with the processing of personal data. With that in mind, we cannot guarantee the security of any personal data provided to or received by us. We encourage you to provide only the personal data you are comfortable with providing to a third party, keep watch for communications that are suspicious, and report any suspicious activity to us as soon as possible.
VII. Children
No Meat Factory’s services are not intended for children under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect or use any personal data from children under the age of 14. We do not knowingly allow children to order our products, communicate with us, or use any of our online services. We do not knowingly sell the personal data of consumers under 14 years of age.

To record and manage your consent, we use the cookie consent manager CCM19 provided by Papoo Software & Media GmbH, Auguststr. 4, 53229 Bonn, Germany (“Papoo”). To ensure the protection of your data, we have concluded a data processing agreement with Papoo which will only process your data on our instructions.
For the consent management, we process the following data:

- Device data (HTTP agent, HTTP referrer, HTTP page);

If you are a resident of Canada, applicable laws provides you with specific rights regarding your personal data. These may include:
1. Right to Withdraw Consent

This may limit our ability to provide you with our services, act on your behalf or engage with you as you would like. No Meat Factory will inform you of the implications of such withdrawal.
